In 2015, the Opera Guild donated the unrestricted use of a Yamaha piano to the newly-established Rochester Lyric Opera at the Lyric Theater on East Avenue, an instrument which has accompanied many vocal recitals and classical music programs there.

In April or May each year, a group
of 20 or more Opera Guild board members, donors and their guests attends The Rochester International Vocal Competition, to support the fundraising efforts of the Rochester Oratorio Society.

In 2019, the Guild provided financial assistance to Kerri Lynn Slominski, local soprano, for her presentation of an
up-dated and digitally interactive version of Menotti’s The Telephone at the KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival.
