We mourn the loss of our Board Secretary, Michael Amorese, who passed away in October 2026. Michael was a dedicated opera fan who filled his calendar by  traveling regionally to see opera productions and for many, many years participated in the Guild's day trips. He was especially passionate about keeping opera alive and well in Rochester and considered it a cultural gem worth preserving.
